The Slipp Inn Pub was built and opened in 2002 by Allen Vaughan. Allen Vaughan started with Lion Breweries as a trainee manager in 1987 and worked for the Breweries for 5 years. Since then Allen has managed the Glenfield Tavern and Carlton Tavern, Newmarket and in 2002 built the Slipp Inn which was sold in 2006. The Slipp Inn is now owned by Birkenhead Licensing Trust and is managed by Allen, with the Pub Manager being Matthew Burton.
